I’ve been trying to keep myself busy this summer with volunteering at the conservatory of flowers, hanging with friends, doing free activities around the city, shooting events for sf station, starting to do personal shoots with people again, and occasionally going on long runs or bike rides. And I’ll being taking an art class this summer starting in July.
Since I’ve also got more free time, I’ve been shooting more film and here is just a batch of what I’ve seen and experienced so far this summer. I have been posting on my tumblr consistently with new photos so give that a look.
Also, I will be doing a few print giveaways from my online shop in a few weeks. There will be 5 giveaways, one from my photo facebook page, one from my tumblr, one from my twitter, one from my instagram(@derekmacario), and one raffle style for costumers of my online shop – Reduced prices going on now(each print purchased gets one raffle entry for the giveaway). Each giveaway includes one $7 print of your choice, one $13 print of you choice, and an additional special print of several that are not currently for sale. So be sure to be following those accounts and be on the look out for a post in about a week or two with instructions to participate and be considered for the giveaways – winners will be randomly and fairly selected, winners will be announced at the end of July.
