Derek is a young San Francisco-based photographer and all around arts enthusiast, currently attending SF State for a BFA in studio art with an emphasis in photography.
During his last year of high school at Lowell he was the senior class historian. Since spring ’11, Derek became a free agent event photographer with SF Station (http://www.sfstation.com/). He’s covered a range of events from in-store art shows, store openings, public city events, concerts, and club nights.
Derek has taken photos of anything and everything with a greater interest in people and fashion. To him photography isn’t just a profession, but a way to document the private moments of his own life.
